Wise statement PDF → Excel or CSV
Wise balance statements put the description first and the date on a line underneath it, and descriptions often contain other amounts ("Sent money to … 250.00 EUR"). Generic PDF-to-Excel tools usually split these into broken rows. CleanStatement reads the layout the way a person would.
- Runs in your browser: the statement is never uploaded
- Running-balance check flags any row that doesn't add up
- Free for 3 statements a day, no sign-up
Your PDF is converted in this browser tab and never uploaded.
What a Wise statement looks like
Wise (formerly TransferWise) statements usually have these columns. The converter maps them to Date, Description, Money out, Money in, Amount and Balance.
- Description (first line), with the date and transaction reference on the line below
- Incoming
- Outgoing
- Amount
- Balance
What CleanStatement handles for you
- The date is found on the line under the description and attached to the right transaction.
- Amounts mentioned inside the description (conversion amounts, fees) are not mistaken for the transaction amount.
- The "Transaction: TRANSFER-…" reference stays attached to its row.
- The running balance is checked on every row.
Every release is tested against a synthetic Wise-style statement that copies this layout with made-up data. Real statements vary by account type and year. If yours doesn't convert cleanly, Pro users get priority fixes for their layout.
How to download your Wise statement as a PDF
- In Wise (web or app), open the balance you need.
- Go to Statements and reports and choose a balance statement.
- Pick the dates and PDF format, then download.
- Drop it into the converter above. (Wise also offers CSV/XLSX if you own the account.)
Menu names change from time to time. If you can't find the option, search for "statements" in your bank's app or website.
Download a synthetic Wise-style sample PDF (made-up data) to see the converter work before you use a real statement.
Wise statement conversion FAQ
Why not just export CSV from Wise?
If it is your account, Wise's own CSV is great. The PDF route is for statements you received from someone else, or older PDFs you already saved.
Do fees show up as separate rows?
Fees appear the way the statement shows them: as their own lines when Wise lists them separately, otherwise inside the description.
Is my statement uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and converted inside your browser. Only the converter code (and, for scanned pages, the OCR engine) is downloaded to your device. Your document is never sent to us.
What does the free plan include?
3 statements per day, up to 5 pages each, with Excel and CSV export and the balance check. Pro ($9/month or $59/year) removes the limits, adds batch conversion into one merged sheet and Chinese OCR.
Converting statements every month?
Pro is $9/month or $59/year: unlimited statements and pages, batch conversion into one merged sheet, and Chinese OCR for scanned statements.

The converter reads the table layout rather than a fixed list of banks, so many other banks work too. Try any statement on the home page.
